Isolated Malignant Lymphoma in the Gastro-Intestinal Tract

Abstract
The incidence of the isolated malignant lymphoma in the gastro -intestinal tract is very low.
Review of the literature of this title disclosed 79 cases from the MassacLusetts general hospital from 1913 to 1953, 49 cases from the Lahey clinic and 25 cases were reported by Dr. Sheldon Oscar Burman.
These articles present the survival rate of the malignant lymphoma in the G-I tract is extremely poor, and particularly the small bowel and the ¢¥a_rge bowel lesions are worse than that of stomach.
Macroscopic appearance of the lymphoma -was disccussed.
A case, 51 year old Korean male patient with post-operative diagnosis of the primary malignant lymphoma in the G-I tract (cecum), who was treated at the Severance Hospital, Yon-Sei University,was presented.
